The Rautanyrkki -tournament is back! With a vengeance!

When: 22-24.7.2011
Where: Annankatu 6, Pori, Finland
Entry: 20EUR (Allows you to take part in all tournaments.)

The entryfee is almost entirely directed to the various tournament-prizes. We will adjust the ratios based on the amount of participiants the games attract, with the popular games getting a higher total prizepool.

The tournaments will be held in:

Tekken 6
Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition
Marvel vs Capcom 3
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

It's possible that we will also organize tournaments in other games with misc merchandise in prizes.

And here's a list of stuff we have at the moment. Will update when we get more stuff.
PS3 = 11x
PS2 = 6x
Wii = 4x
Lagless monitors = 17x (13x CRT, 4x TFT)

Thanks! We're already discussing this event in Russian subforum, and at least some of us are going to attend ) So, please do keep us posted (here), we are looking forward to it.

Also, do you know if Sweden\French Guilty Gear crews are going to attend the event? This could be one major upside if they do...

It's pretty expensive :<

With bus it's gonna cost you 80,70 € (helsinki-pori-helsinki) and with train it's gonna cost 41,60 € (Helsinki-Pori). I'l ask Entomo if he can arrange some kind of transportation for you guys.

I have informed them that re are holding this event but I haven't yet get any information about.

Hi again. Can you advise some rly cheap place when i can sleep? ^^ (hostels or something like...) and how much players expected on BlazBlue tournament?

The venue is two floors amd the bottom floor is for sleeping and second floor is for gaming. I can get you guys some mattress. Pori doesn't have yet cheap hostels.

Here's link at the pre-registered players. You can pre-register sending email to: ptp.rautanyrkki@gmail.com just leave your nick and what games you are going to register.

Event is going to start at Friday 22.7 14:00 PM and the tournaments will start Saturday and we will be streaming games. And there's gonna be consoles and lagless monitors to play casuals (at the moment we have about 20 ready console/monitor bundle)

PS. I talked to Blodwig today and it seems that there is a change that some of the swedish players are also coming.

Venues sleeping area is full of mattress so you don't have to bring your own mattressess.

Okay. I was bought tickets to Helsinki! So ... i have two questions ^^
1) Can me(we) stay somewhere to monday?
2) Can we move to Pori from Helsinki with bus or another source (not train)?

1) Yes it's not a problem. Do you know how many you guys are coming ?

2) Well if not train then bus (it leaves from Kamppi). Is a little cheaper and faster than a train. And if it helps if you guys when you know the time that you are about in Pori we can come to pick you up in train station or bus station which ever you guys are coming. I can also put my telephonenumber to you in PM so you can txt me.

Thank you very much!

VMChaz will give his documents for visa tommorow.(He had no passrourt) So if he will receive his visa in 21th july or earlier - he will go with me. If he will not - i will go alone ... so ... one or two ^_^(but the chance of his visa in right time is very high).

And thank you for link on Kamppi! We will come to the center of Helsinki in 22th of Juli in 14-15 o`clock. Don`t know when we will be in Pori ^^
