Sorry for creating another topic but it may be better to have two separate topics, one for the Stunfest event and another one for the European qualifiers.

As its guilty fate has not been decided yet, the European SBO staff is wondering if there are people interested in attending the GG qualifiers. (more details here, Stunfest event announcement on Dustloop or here on Fighting.ru) AND able to go to Japan, meaning they can afford it (both money and time). If not, there won't be any GG Euro slot this year.

They are trying their best to get the winners some financial help. By the way, they ask if it's worth it for you to travel to Rennes (FRANCE) in order to qualify then to travel to Tokyo (JAPAN) or is it too much of a trouble ?

So who's in ?
As it is a serious matter, please think about it and don't throw some random answers. If you say you'll go, you have to mean it and to back it up.

Note that should the qualifiers take place, they will be played on arcade cabinet (no controller). Nonetheless the Stunfest event allow you to play on pad if you come for the event itself and not the SBO qualifiers.

Can you give some feedback by this week-end ?

Just in case you are wondering, the SBO 09 European Qualifiers are :
-Street Fighter 4 1on1
-Street Fighter III Third Strike 3on3

There is just some discussion going on about whether a slot for Guilty Gear is relevant and feasible or not, hence the creation of this topic. GG is the only potential other slot, making at most 3 games for the SBO qualifiers for Europe this year. Hence the creation of this topic.

Kind of a moot point since you may already know that now but better close this thread properly. The SBO 2009 European qualifiers for Guilty Gear will take place during Showdown 4 (Stockholm, SWEDEN) :

Third Strike and SFIV qualifiers will still take place during Stunfest (Rennes, FRANCE), don't get confused !
