『TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE Full Version』 coming to PLAYSTATION®Store in August

A great news to all TEKKEN fans. On August 1st, 2007, Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) will be releasing the new『TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE FULL Version (Japanese Version)』 . SCEH will also be releasing 『TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE EXPANSION PACK (Japanese Version)』 for players who previous purchased the OFFLINE Japanese Version. With this new ONLINE EXPANSION PACK, you can upgrade your OFFLINE Version to ONLINE FULL Version and you will be able to enjoy the online plays. Both will be available on PLAYSTATION®Store from August 1st for only HK$ 175.00 for the ‘Online Full Version’ and HK$ 65.00 for the ‘Online Expansion Pack’.

As for players who prefer English language, 『TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE Full Version (English Version)』and 『TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE EXPANSION PACK (English Version)』 will be coming in Mid-August. With the ONLINE EXPANSION PACK (English Version), you can upgrade your current OFFLINE Japanese Version to ONLINE FULL VERSION (English Version). However, please note that you cannot change back to Japanese Version once updated to English Version. Both will be available on PLAYSTATION®Store from Mid-Aug at the same price as the Japanese Version.

With the new 『TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE』, players can now play and challenge online with other players across the world.

Once the player entered into the online mode, players can create rooms and invite other players to play. Each room can hold a maximum of 8 players and players can communicate with each other using voice chat function provided by the game. Players can also join and observe other players’ spectacular online play.

There are four matching methods: Opti Match, Quick Match, Custom Match and Friend Match. These matching methods will allow players to find their best match to compete online.

Hi everyone, it’s MarkMan again… Just wanted to throw in my two cents on T5DR ONLINE. I downloaded the full 2,800 Yen version off the Japanese PS Store as soon as it went online, the first thing I did after I installed the 550 MB game was jump online.

The first thing I wanted to figure out was whether or not people outside of Japan could play against each other online. Fortunately, YES it is possible to play people all over the world with this version of T5DR ONLINE! I played a few matches against Japanese and Korean players then finally hooked up with some American players to test how the gameplay would fare.

I played a few matches with Tekken Zaibatsu’s very own MrWizard and we both came across a mutual agreement that T5DR ONLINE was definitely playable and as a matter of fact, the lag/latency was pretty good for a fighting game. Later in the evening I tested extensively with SD TEKKEN members Empty H4nd and Ace R., the result is a bit mixed. But overall one thing is for sure, the game is playable and the lag doesn’t make you want to slam your controller on the floor(as long as both you and your opponent have good connections).

The lag would vary from match to match but often times we would have matches that were close to perfect. I used a variety of characters & I was able to do land juggles that would require precise timing… that really surprised me.

Unless you have an awesome WiFi signal I would recommend that you use a wired internet connection when playing T5DR ONLINE. Personally I found that wired was a big enough improvement over the PS3’s WiFi signal to warrant the change.

Aside from the ONLINE portion of the game there is also an updated title screen, survival mode, and the always important practice mode! The practice mode is similar to that of Tekken 5 on PS2 and even has the command capture feature, defensive training, and hit analysis that we all know and love!

Should you wait until the US version comes out? It’s really up to you. You shouldn’t be asking me this because I am a Tekken freak and would have bought it the first day no matter what. The US version is slated for mid August which sets it up for around Thursday, August 16th. If you can wait that long, do so… if not find out how to get it from either the HK or JPN PS stores!

На одном из ник лагов не было особо заметно, на двух других это просто пипец, особенно у чела их пакистана ))).

1) Create a new User account on your PS3.

To do this simply go to the far left on your XMB menu (main PS3 menu) and press create new profile, or user, I forget the exact wording.

2) Create a new PSN account.

Go to the far right and click on the New PSN icon. However!!! Do not put your US/UK/CAN/AUS address. Go to google.com and google yourself a Hong Kongnese address. I just typed, Hong Kong, Hong Kong in google maps and then clicked on the find business icons there to find a valid address.

Now that you have an actual hong kong address enter that as your address.

Certainly most of you have gotten to this point and know that your credit card will not work when you enter the store in later steps. Here is what you do.

3) Create a WireCard

Go to http://www.wirecard.com Register there for a wirecard. A wirecard is basically a virtual region free credit card. Click on the main image that says "Get WireCard" or something to that effect. Then do the registration thing. It will ask for a lot of information. But the end effect is you'll get DROnline.

When you're in wirecard you're going to have to deposit funds. You're going to need 175 HK Dollars. How much is that in your currency? I don't know, use google again to determine how much you should deposit into your wirecard.

The reason you need 175 HK dollars is because under the User Account on your PS3, you are only allowed to download the FULL online version of the game, not just the expansion. I tried just skipping that step and going through an old user account, but that did not work.

OK now that you have deposited funds, click on the image that says "MY MASTERCARD" and it will give you all your info for your virtual card. You may need to click on the small arrow to display more information. Keep that window open and run back to your PS3 and you should be at the enter address process in creating the new User Account.

4) Entering Information

After you have entered your googled hong kong address, enter your billing information as shown on the wirecard webpage that has your info. And then press yes billing info is the same as home information. Something like that, again I forget the exact wording.

Finish creating the account and enter the PSN Store.

5) Buying from the PSN Store

T5 DROnline is the first icon, wtf am I saying, the store is self explanatory and in English. Just fucking click and get to the screen about adding funds so you can buy.

Press yes you want to put funds in your wallet with a Credit Card and the funds should transfer with no problem at all. Then you should be downloading DR and sucking my dick afterwards.





Things you may run into:
Can't create new account. Solution is typically that you need a new email to create an account because it won't let you use the current one you already have.

This is still too complicated: Solution, ask here and I will try to answer. If after that you're still confused, do us all a favor and swallow a knife.
